Members Colt45
Need a little help here - does anyone know of a good amp repairman in the Houston (Clear Lake) area? My Marshall Valvestate seems to have some sort of an intermittent or heat-related problem. Could even be switch related, but I think there is more going on. After about 2 hours during yesterday's rehearsal, it pretty much just shut off. I can get it to power up, but sound on either channel is intermittent. Any help is appreciated... Members Colt45
Thanks, guys. I just moved back to the Houston area after 27 years in Austin. My old bandmate was my repair guy there (Musicmakers - Tim Johnson), and I don't know anybody here yet. I did buy a Les Paul MANY years ago from Lone Star guitars, and I'm really close to 45 and Dixie Farm. I'll check 'em both out.
