Members math2014
Hi all, I got those new elixir antirust strings on my guitar for 2 weeks (1-2hrs per day playtime). I noticed today that when gain and bass is high-ish (5+/10) the bass strings have loooooooong sustain/positive feedback and it actually stays on the same volume for a bit and then diminishes slowly... like feedback or something. Is it the strings going south? Is it amp related? Is it the cheap ass squier and her pickups? Is it me my strange ears and a strange hearing day? in comparison with the acoustics of the room and possible vibration of floor/walls? Just asking, nothing really important but since i am a 6month player i thought i should ask.

It's good, don't worry.Nigel: The sustain...listen to it...Marty: I'm not hearing anything.Nigel: You would, though, if it were playing, because it really ... it's famous for its sustain...I mean, you could, just hold it....Marty: Well I mean so you don't....Nigel: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... You could go and have a bite an'...aaaaaaaaa...you'd still be hearin' that one.
