Members Guitar Guru
Hey, A few months back, I purchased a used 7-String Epiphone from a local music store. The thing was covered in gold hardware, and I hated the way it looked. Here is the original guitar: Anyway, I wanted all of the gold hardware gone. I also wanted to make it look a little meaner. So here are the results. I also tossed a Dimarzio Blaze in the bridge position. Some body shots...... We covered the entire headstock with the swordy thing that is part of our logo for my band. So, did I make it uglier? I used it for the first time at our CD Release party last month. It was a real hit with the crowd......everybody thought it was a bad-ass guitar. Members dot-dot-dot
Looks like a nice job. If I might, though, I'd suggest that the tuners and nut could be replaced with all-chrome and graphite respectively - that bone colour doesn't really go. I ran out of time before our CD Release......but now that I have a few weeks before our next tour, I may fix it up again. Good call.....
Members Joey Joe Joe
That thing is ugly! By the looks of it, I'd guess the owner is ugly too!!
