Members FearMeWithMyLP
I don't like the bodies on them. I currently have a tele and was thinking about switching the body with a replacement from Warmoth. The replacement body would have the contour routings like on strats. Would the missing wood have a major impact on the tone of the guitar if I get the same type of wood (swamp ash)?

Wouldn't be too hard with the right equipment (or even with the wrong ones ).

Members batotman
If you're gonna replace the body I say skip it. Start a new project with a body you like and keep the other one the way it is!

Don't feel like being more succinct, but tons of info here!
Members ratkent
If you really like the tone of that guitar, I would seriously consider having a professional luthier make the mods to it before getting an entirely different body.
