Members jeffcoop Posted August 11, 2005 Members Share Posted August 11, 2005 Epi went to Grover tuners a couple of years ago, and also substantially revised the stock pickups, making them an Epiphone copy of Gibson's '57 Classics. I had a '97 Dot (made by Samick--the serial number began with S). It was a decent enough player, I guess, but keeping it would have required a new switch, new pickups, and a few other mods.
