Members RoboCop00
I know normally bridge is treble/lead or whatever, and neck is rhythm, but on Strats the bridge stock pickup sounds so thin. Uck. I couldn't ever picture my self using it and was thinking about putting a humbucker in there. Has anyone else switched out their bridge pup? Members markas214
"A lot of people" would be an accurate description of those who do. Stock American Standard pikups are a little too thin sounding for some. A lot depends on your setup, amp, effects, etc and also what type of music you play. 'A lot of people" don't find it necessary to change the pickups. Then you've got those who just can't help but changing everthing because they love to tinker. The problem, you'll find, is that there are so many alternatives that it is amazingly difficult to choose a replacement.
