Members Friedman4ever Posted August 17, 2005 Members Share Posted August 17, 2005 Hi there, Is there any difference on the sound between a SH 4 JB & a SH-4b JB Nickel Covered ? i'm using the SH 4 JB & i love it, i want to buy a nicke one for my gibson, but don't know is the cover change the sound (better/bad) way thanks by the way the SH 4 JB ROCKS!! Members gabi Posted August 17, 2005 Members Share Posted August 17, 2005 i asked this same question before, since my ltd eclipse came stock with a covered JB i got several answers which all end up basically saying no it doesnt apparently SD compensates for the cover so it sounds the same or the sound difference is negligable even though you lose a bit of top end Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
