Members tazman2
I just got a new Les Paul Standard. I kept noticing that on the pup selector know there was a black stain (it is cream to begin with). . SO I went down to the local GC and got a new one. Next day, same thing. I looks like the black satin guitar shaped cover inside the guitar case is bleeding the dye onto the guitar. So,after talking to Gibson, i got a pair of scissors and cut it out. The pup selector was the only thing being stained, but I did not want to take any chances... Has anyone else ever had a similar experience? Thanks Rob
Members angus_old
nope. couldn't you have exchanged the case instead of cutting it up?
