Members PhilMuller
Does anybody know what to do in Cubase in order to convert a MIDI track(s) to an audio track. The manual is quite vague in that it says, "assign the midi outputs to the audio inputs". That's great, but how do I do that? More specifically, I want to be able to take a few MIDI tracks and place them on a single audio track. TNX in advance. Phil
Members djufart
You need to set the blue arrows (forget what they call it) for the length of time you want then go to export >> mixdown audio. Choose the option you'd like (i.e. mono, stereo interveaved) and mix it down. That should do the trick... anyone else care to elaborate?

I was just looking at a book of mine here ( I had to reference it as I've never actually converted any MIDI, but should probably do so just for the know-how...and it has a different process for MIDI than using the mixdown feature. Here's what it says: 1. In the MIDI Device Manager panel, select the device setups that you want to export into a file. 2. Click the Export Setup button. 3. Choose the appropriate folder and name for your file. 4. Click save button which creates XML file. Looks like the same thing actually but you use the MIDI Device Manager.
