I just talked to one of the guys there for like 45 minutes...learned some good stuff about pickups. Too bad they were out of the ones I wanted (Fender Custom Shop '54)

 

But please, if you have pickup questions, head over there. They know there stuff and are more than willing to talk you through it.

 

P.S. Most helpful site in terms of strat pickups...their mp3s rock and (from what he said) more are coming after thanksgiving.

 

 

 

On a related note...I spent the hour prior listening to their mp3s and doing blind tests to pick out which ones I prefered. I renamed all of them to be numbers, scrambled them, and then made my choices. After I'd listened, I'd check with my sheet to see which ones were which.
