I have an alvarez rd20s acoustic... nice guitar... anyways.. the d and g string now buzz really bad when fretting the 12th fret. never done this before and just started i don't quite get it... do you think i need more neck relief or what? any suggestions would help thanks in advance! Members walkinblues Posted December 2, 2005 Members Share Posted December 2, 2005 has the weather changed recently where you live? from hot/dry to cold/damp (or the other way?). changes in humidity will affect the set up on an acoustic guitar easier than on an electric. unless you've worked on your guitar before, i'd recommend taking it to someone who knows what they're doing and having them tweak the set up.
