Members biggness
How difficult would it be to convert me fender american deluxe strat with the 2 point tremelo to a floating floyd rose setup?By the way, this is a shredtastic guitar. I dont know if is the maple fretboard or the vibe it gives off , but the notes cometh. Any help would be appreciated.
Members BowerR64
I put an edge floating trem on a model 1 charvel. Even though everyone thinks they need to be flush mounted or what ever, i think mine plays great. It came with the 6 screw vintage type stock. I would think the floyd being a USA made tremolo would be a standard width (not metric) its possible the floyd will match up fine with the stock 2 point screws. If its already routed with the springs and the spring claw and everything it may just drop right in. You might have to shim the neck to get the action where you need it though. Eddie vanhalen mounted all his floyds to the top also without routing a tremolo route on the top.
