Shoe polish is basically pigmented grease. Sure you could use it as a glaze to add color to the finish, but it's gonna rub off pretty fast. Members dangerine49 Posted December 17, 2005 Members Share Posted December 17, 2005 It's a very easy treatment for those pale MIM Strat and Tele necks. You rub it on (Kiwi brown paste), leave it for 2 - 3 minutes and rub off. I did it to my MIM Strat. Looks great and lasts. It DOES NOT rub off on your hands.
