Members newlyformedmind
The song is "So Far Away". It's by a band called CrossFade. I am totally blown away at the effect he frequently uses on his already amazing voice. YOu can hear the track for free at: www.myspace.com/crossfade Remember track is "So Far Away" Kudo's to anyone that can figure it out. And thanks. Members Emoco
Sounds to me like he's doubled the vocals, reversed the audio, used a reverb and reversed it backwards again. You can hear the vocals come in before he actually sings if you know what I mean. Also on the chorus there is obviously some doubling and and layering. Maybe some short delay. So it's just a short delay on his voice that makes him sound like that? I thought it was something more cause I use that on mine and it never sounds nearly as thick and pleasant. I'm sure his preamp/mic combo helps out a bunch. The beginning part I'm sure you are right about. Thanks man!
