Members NoirAbattoir
It reminds me a lot of my 1981 LP standard in playability and tone. I'm getting it regardless of what you think. I was just looking to hear from other owners...

Members NoirAbattoir
I was surprised to hear how good it sounded considering it is a pancake body design and multi-piece mahogany slab.

Members WhiskeyBucket
If I'm not mistaken the 1500 is sort of the luxury model. Well, personally I think these guitars are awesome and I wish I could find a lefty. They don't call them "Les Paul Killers" for nothing. Apparently they were good enough for Santana. I guess he knows something about guitars. That sounds like a very cheap price.

Members NoirAbattoir
Well, I just got it home and I had to swap out the pickup toggle. Luckily, I had one kicking around for my soon to fail LP toggle. It's a great guitar. It may serve me well as a backup to my LP. The only thing is I need a longer strap. It sits too high right now since the strap button is further away than on a traditional LP.
