Members DexGTR
hey guys, just got me my Schecter Omen...plays good...love it already. I replaced the brdige pick-up with a Dimarzio Evolution coz the stock bridge pick up was weak. Now the neck pick-up is somewhat decent sounding but i still want it to be a little hotter. the question is, which pick-up from the Dimarzio line should i get for the neck. I'm looking for a nice warm chuga-chuga when distorted, but not too bright.

Members undergod12
I've got a Humbucker From Hell in the neck slot of my Schecter C1+ and I love it. It has tons of output and a very unique tone, falling smack in the middle between single coil and humbucker sounds. The clean tone is great for jazz or blues tones and it has a ton o' bass so it holds it's own when run direct into a console or computer soundcard. The distorted tone is kind of a cross between Queens of the Stone Age's "No One Knows" tone and the tone on Tool's "Schism" right around 3:35 in the song.
