Members Hopeless
Also, just a thought, but I'm always wary of my speakers being really cold when I play through my amp. It seems as though the cold stiffens them up (I've definitely been able to hear that happen at least) and it would seem in a lower wattage speaker ,say a celestion blue, that that could be fairly dangerous if you play loud. That's just a theory I have though, and I have no scientific reasoning to back it up.
Members stanfield
too much reading, so if someone already mentioned this I apologize. IF the temp drops below freezing the speaker magnets can be damaged. How? No idea, I've just gotten speakers in the mail with big Do Not (allow to) Freeze stickers on the box. Maybe they crack or weaken the magnetic field.
Members McSilva
Go ahead, keep it in there. In the summer it should be fine, and then in the winter you can just set the garage on fire.
