Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted March 24, 2006 Moderators Share Posted March 24, 2006 Apart from the sucker not dropping off when you restring...............are they worthwhile? Experiences please
Members pipedwho
I can't hear or feel any difference whether or not the locking screws on my Schecter are tightened. So I guess the primary (only?) benefit is the not falling off while you restring thing.
Members PolyFmorf
I replaced a Schaller bridge on my Godin with a Tonepros TP6 and I thought it improved my sound. I've also replaced some cheaper bridges/tailpieces with Gotoh aluminum parts and there was DEFINITELY a change in tone for the better.
