Members Manitou
Does anyone have this combo in any of their geets? Full Shred in the Bridge and Jazz in the neck. I plan on putting that set in my V, its mahogany, set neck, rosewood board and has a floyd. One other concern of utmost importance, would it look good with zebras? Members nrarocks
Zebras might be ok, only because of the guitar's finish.

They can look like ass in the wrong finish. Sounds like a good rock/metal combo!
Members GuitarFreeek
I've found that the Duncan '59 in the neck provides a great tone in that positon, and a Custom Custom or a JB in the bridge is awesome. Just FYI
Members rhino bucket
i put a jb/jazz set in my mahogany destroyer. ended up trading the jazz with Seymour Duncan for a Distortion neck pup. i found the jazz to be way to clean for my liking. leads were maybe allright, but on the wound strings it was just too clean. made my high gain distorted channel sound like a clean bass amp. why not just try a full shread in the neck and bridge? some people run full shred necks, but deferent bridge pups. Jackson uses an Invader in the bolt pattern USA warrior, not sure what's in the neck?
Members Manitou
Well I plan on using the jazz mostly for fingerpicking/acoustic parts in electric songs etc. I don't think I'll be cranking out the sabbath on it. Thanks to all of you and your input.
Members 70 Cam Guy
doesn't Mikael Akerfeldt use that combo in his Gibsons? or maybe it was Peter Lindgren? I know one of the Opeth guys uses a full shred. They definitely have a killer live tone
