Members Adrian Crow Posted June 12, 2006 Members Share Posted June 12, 2006 Ok Im in a jam. Im torn between a Les Paul Standard and the Les Paul Standard Plain top. The Plain top is solid Mahogany while the standard is Mahogany and Alder. I know that the solid Mahogany is better for tone because that what gibsons use. The thing I'm worried about is the price.
