Members Pavel
Would a Kramer Focus body from the 80s be compatible with a Warmoth neck? What about the pickguard? Would a replacement from Warmoth fit, or did Kramer pickguards have different dimensions? Thanks.

I replaced the neck on my 80's Focus with one from a HM Squier, which luckily enough was a perfect fit. As long as it's the same scale length it shouldn't be too much trouble. (Even if it it didn't fit, I'd make it fit...) Originally posted by Pavel What about the pickguard? Would a replacement from Warmoth fit, or did Kramer pickguards have different dimensions? I'm assuming this is a strat shape pickguard - I reckon the pickguard would cover the cavity OK, but the screwholes may not line up exactly. Members Pavel
I don't have the guitar yet... I'm intereseted in purchasing it (can't see it first) and I wanted to replace the neck with a Warmoth. It's the same scale length and everything and both necks are 22 frets. I heard that most Kramer strats (Pacer, Baretta, Focus) were to Fender specs, but though I'd check with you guys.
