Members Banded-Morwong
I have been offered a Peavey Wolfgang EVH as a trade for the John5 Telecaster i have on ebay at the moment, I want people who own this guitar to convince to swap or deter me from this swap by giving your opinions on the EVH Peavey. My style is tight, High Gain, Percussive Death metal in the vein of Deed's of Flesh, Deicide, Death Etc etc GO GO GO

Members bdegrande
Best guitar I've ever owned for high gain, the pickups stay well defined even with lots of distortion.
Members surfcat
Very good for high gain stuff. Sold mine-not into shred anymore-more blues based classic rock stuff. But for heavy stuff-really nice. Does a good Santana sound too. Miss it a little.
Members Banded-Morwong
Sounding good guys, very good. I'm not that fond of the "Testicle" shape, but if its as good as you say, it might be a winnar. Would it accomadate an original floyd rose? Members EvanS
I have a generic Wolfgang COPY, and it's still great. So even their spawn is good stuff

Members bumrunner
i bummed one off a friend for a bit, i dont think youd need to change it out for an OFR. the thing stayed in tune no matter what i did to it.
Members marloni
personally, I don't like the wolfgang pickups. I'd rather replace the pickups with dimarzio tone zone and air norton, which sound similar to the wolfgang pickups, just cleaner and less upper midrange.
