Members timmy210
Whats up guys, I need some suggestions for new pickups for my Washburn. I've been having trouble trying to figure out which pickups would suit it because the body wood is all maple with a maple neck as well which makes the guitar fairly bright. The guitars a bolt on and have a floyd too. I need a pickup that adds some "umph" to the sound. Any suggestions? I play alot of High Gain stuff so it has to have good distorted tones, cleans arent as important.

Members book_of_lies777
from what I understand the SD Invader is kinda dark, and sounds heavy as hell
Members HackedByChinese!
DiMarzio X2N comes to mind-say goodbye to versatility, though.

Members TELE2000
Maybe you should try the Dimarzio Super Distortion - it has quite a lot of bass and mids while the highs are very smooth. The output is very strong but not over the top. Sounds like this is your PU...
