Members Banded-Morwong
Yeah but is it legit? It has a locking nut. String through guitars arent supposed to have locking nuts
Members OwenD
"As far as I know the 6 digit #'s were used on Japanese imports even though the neck plate says Fort Worth, Texas." Taken from -> http://www.guitarsite.com/discussion/messages/27645.shtml doesnt it have a neckplate with place of manufacture on it? take a look here, this explains it all....http://www.jacksoncharvelworld.net/Home.htmlclick on the 2nd tab "Identify" on the left hand side.. it seems that the guitar is Japanese model,i'm not sure what the exhange rate for AU$ is,but that price seems a little steep.. maybe the locking nut was added afterwards, for tuning stability.Charvel production moved overseas(out of the USA) in 1986,that guitar doesnt look as old an '86. Members Banded-Morwong
$650 Australian makes 266.006 british pounds. I dont know, he says its an all american guitar but he wont show me the backplate or answer my question about the neck. probably not worth the risk
Members OwenD
ah right,i would skip over it,he only accepts Visa/MasterCard as payment, dodgy i think! if you are in the UK,the shipping would be ridiculous! keep an eye on eBay Germany,i see some gems over there from time to time,Germans are honest people, they usually take care of their guitars!
