Members shaun79 Posted August 1, 2006 Members Share Posted August 1, 2006 Ok so I have a usa big apple strat with rosewood fretboard that i really like but has a big gap in the neck pocket. i always assumed this was a badly cut body. today as an experiment i took the neck off of my 02 usa deluxe strat and put it in the big apple. it fits like a glove, no gap at all. why is this? are there different sizes to the bottom of a usa neck? if so what is the bigger one? can someone enlighten me as to if i want to replace the neck on my big apple permanently, what type should i look for?
