I stumbled across a website presenting their videos of musicians/bands playing sessions during a taxi journey in a London (UK) black cab. Just spent around 2 hours watching some of the sessions. If there is a tie in to this forum then maybe it's what you can get away with using a single mic in a usually undesirable setting. Here's a starter, Sea Sick Steve..
