Members woodsmandan
I like this: http://www.rondomusic.net/wf175.html For the price, if it's half as good as my '51 I'd be happy...good looker/beater for those gigs... So what's up with those Douglas ? I keep hearing about Agile's and SX's around here , any love for Douglas?...are they any good ?
Members Cooley
my dear friend, at that price you could just stick a bigsby on the 51 and then it would be the same...except it would sound better. not to mention i had a poll with that guitar in it and well....no love for douglas. Members woodsmandan
Well, I think you're right, what I really need is another '51 and trow that trem on it...Now what I need to find is a black '51 and a chrome pickguard for it... Members nevermind
If that black and chrome bigsby'd look is what you are after I say go for it. Even if the humbucker needs swapped out the '51 pup runs like $10-$15 on ebay. I'm quite sure the quality on the Douglas is at least as good as will be found on a squier 51. Members ChrisGansz
If you like it, then get it. I have a Douglas 335 copy that rocks! Be prepared though to at least polish the frets and give it a set up. it's a cool guitar - i played one when I was at Rondo recently:thu:
