Members flip333
Hi, After putting a JB jr. in my son's Peavey Predator, I wanted to upgrade my Peavey Raptor (HSS). Ancient Mariner recommended a GFC Liverpool for the bridge and a staggered 60's neck pup. I put them in and like them. The raptor has one tone control that affects the bridge pup. With the tone full treble, the pup sounds to brittle and gets less clear. Turning the tone down to around 5 cleans up the sound. I like it. The neck pup sounds more like a typical strat neck pup. That's what I wanted. Money well spent. I wanted something a little different from my other guitars. This guitar fills the bill and sounds good. The Liverpool looks cool too. Members 6942
Alot of people like the Liverpools.I have two sets of GFS pickups (humbucker & single coil), on two different guitars.I think GFS pickups give you good value. Members flip333
Went to practice today. Good sound with band. Really enjoyed the SC neck pick up ... I've been on a love affair with humbuckers for the last couple years.
