I'm enamored with soapbars but I love hum cancelling at least as much so I'm putting together a spec list for a custom guitar. One spec being, Dimarzio DLX Plus & DLX Plus Neck pups but I need a single coil shaped humbucker in between because well, I just like middle pickup tone. It'll have coil splitting for all three pups, a rosewood neck thru, ebony board and a korina body but with 24 frets and a 25" scale so that doesn't leave enough room for three full-sized humbuckers (and would look corny anyways). I'm not 100% dead-set on Dimarzios, but I really really want some humbucking soapbars. As for the middle, {censored} I have no idea.
