Tele Thinline '72 Love

I love these guitars. I played Graeme Downe's one with EMG 60's in it, and I played an MIM one at a music store once.

Seeing as it it's the guitar of my heroes, I'd never buy one myself - (I want to do my own, worse, thing).

But - I loved, the lightweight body, the big chimey resonace, the z-coil style wide range humbuckers, which sound much less compressed and chunky than ordinary 'buckers.

Shame on Fender for not making 'em like they used to!. (The pickups)

I love the f-hole.

They seem to have the acousticy sounding neck pickup of the Tele, but a richer, and a fuller sound overall. They sound good with a straight clean sound, as though they had a very small amount of natural chorus and reverb.

Fender's best basic design IMHO.
