Members Weldon51
I appreciate neo-classical technique, I'd love to be able to do it, I love 2mm picks and the control you get on single note runs, but try strumming six or 12 string chords 16 times a bar, it just "catches", even if you hold it loosely (ruining keeping the anle consistent, and risking dropping the pick). What's the best all around, for strumming quickly over all six or 12 , and then switching to a melodic phrase, and dropping back into the strumming... anyone? Members garyfanclub
I'd say this is more a function of your wrist than that of the pick. Unless you're using jazz picks, which i don't think you are. 2mm is somewhat large though, that's like playing with a coffee saucer.
