Members Carati
You know that double dyeing tech PRS and others use to create those hugely contrasting colour effects on their maple caps? Ive read they have the nasty side effect of cancellling out the three dimensional look of the flaming, which changes in texture depending on what angle your looking from. I think its called the 'butterfly effect'. True or false? I never seen one of those PRS tops...all up close and personal.
Members No Soul
never heard that if anything I would assume the opposite would be true though, but I cant say Ive ever been compelled to stare that closely to a PRS.
