Members woodsmandan Posted November 3, 2006 Members Share Posted November 3, 2006 I tried to fit the tuners from a MIM Tele in my '51 but they did not fit right in, the holes in the '51's head are too small... Members Dauntless Posted November 3, 2006 Members Share Posted November 3, 2006 Tuners here will fit http://store.guitarfetish.com/wiklstnitusi.html with the adaptor bushings http://store.guitarfetish.com/vitucobu.html The bushings will seem a little large but you can tap them in with a fret hammer (plastic tip) or use a vise as other people have done.You shouldn't need to widen the holes because you want them to fit tight.
