Members flip333
Hi, My Cousin drove down to see me this weekend. He brought his Washburn guitar. This thing is nice for pickup clarity. Let me explain what I heard. With a Traynor YCV50 tube amp on the OD channel and boost on, my guitars sound fine... like overdriven guitars. I have an ESP EC-1000 with Sd JB/59 pups, a peavey raptor with GFS liverpool/60's SC, and a Teisco Delray I put a GFS vintage 59 in. His Washburn is a HSS. With this Washburn guitar in my amp it produces a more distinct clear tone that you can hear each note with... even with the overdrive from the amp. This is some cheap discontinued model, but it really sounds and plays good. So.... do you guys know of a pickup like this with relatively clean clarity with overdrive? That sounds contradicting but its the best way I can describe it. I would like this sound available to me. flip

Members flip333
No, its a WR120.... Real good clarity. Would anyone suggest PUPs with more clarity at moderate gain than a JB?
