Owners of SG's and Strats

bonus question,

if you have an alder Strat, rosewood board, with a humbucker in the bridge, how does the heaviness of tone compare between the 2 .?

I have a 65 SG(w/broken neck right now that I need to get fixed ) and a Fender Strat S-S-S.

I prefer the feel of the SG's neck over the Strat. It also has better fret access.

Tone wise, the SG's pick-ups can get a singing lead tone that it much harder to achieve with the Strat.

I really like the versatility of the Strat's pick up config though. It is much more versatile, and has a clean "spank" that the SG doesn't get.

Don't get me wrong, the SG can do clean quite well, but it's just a different clean.
