Members ian4692 Posted December 11, 2006 Members Share Posted December 11, 2006 i got one for the bridge spot of my american strat because i like too many types of music for regular single coils. i love hendrix, vaughan, clapton, avenged sevenfold, pink floyd, van halen, randy rhoads era ozzy and lo fi blues like the black keys do you think it will be able to get a majority of those tones through a laney aor? Members Kelly Posted December 11, 2006 Members Share Posted December 11, 2006 Ive been going through the same dilemma with my Strat, looking for something thicker in the bridge pickup than the stock Texas Specials. Picked up a Fralin SP43 on ebay this week and I think my search is over. Sounds like a P-90. Still has the single coil bite, but sounds great with high gain.
