Members lburger Posted January 8, 2007 Members Share Posted January 8, 2007 Hi all, I am fairly new to building/upgrading guitars. I have a question about replacing necks. How hard is it to find replacement necks for guitars other than strats (which I know there are many options for)? Let's say I have a Casino and the neck snaps. Is my only option to order the same neck, or can I look around at a number of options? Could I even get a Strat neck or a Wizard neck and use that (maybe with a little modification)? When a set neck guitar requires neck repair, it is vastly different than bolt on. If you are careful, there is absolutely no reason why your set neck will require repair in your lifetime.
