Primavera wood

Thats near $100 US man, not including postage.

 

I dont know what it is really (and I know a lot of woods, I stock over 50) but I would say for the price, I'd go with African mahogany. I buy 8/4 A Mahogany for about $6 a board foot. My cost on a body blank 1 3/4" thick, 14" by 18" is only about $25 C with some waste factored in.

 

Arent there any smaller furniture shops in the UK where you are that you can bum some wood from?

Yes quite a few..........MDF:( Veneered.

Nobody is making quality cabinetry, apart from a few people doing it to order at exorbitant prices.

You find a maple top for me?;)
