Members MegaMustaine
Made a quick video of this solo. I don't play it perfect by any means, just to get the point across. http://media.putfile.com/Technical-Difficulties http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y228/megamustaine1338/?action=view¤t=Guitaragain.flv
Members davis1
pretty cool I like the tone..at least the recorded sound usually videos for this kind of music has terrible sound and too much gain
Members lintuxvi
Nice going! I love the Edwards, and the tone is cool. At least you didn't stop in the middle of parts you didn't know! Basically only the string-skipping parts and some scalar ascending/descending. Nice! (I can feel the pain, since I'm working on those very parts right now)
Members Hunter6
Backing track sounds painfully similar to a bunch of stuff on Dark Side of the Moon. But good job anyway.
Members MegaMustaine
Haha. As a matter of fact, its comfortably numb, but in E minor. And the backing track isn't actually a backing track, I just turned the subwoofer way up so the bass and drums would dominate, so it would be kind of like a backing track. Members Swimrunner
It's cool sir. I think you lost some of your phrasing on some bends, need to get a smoother touch on those. The sweeps and fast runs were pretty damn clear as far as I can make out, alot better than what I can do. Improv managed to fit in the solo, wasn't killer but we're not all steve vais or stevie ray vaughns. Good job overall. Are those the stock EMG 81's? Didn't sound as extreme as alot of guys drive them, which is good in my book, although in my case I'd still put an EMG 60 in the neck for more versitility.
