Members venturehead
I opened our Sunday paper this morning, and Best Buy's flyer had Stratocasters on the front page, and it turns out that 3 of their stores in the So Cal Inland Empire area (Riverside/San Bernadino) now are carrying musical instruments such as Fender and Squire guitars, effects drums, keyboards, synthesizers, etc. pictures of their showrooms show lots of instruments (lloks like Guitar Center), and the ad claims that they have "trained muscians" on staff.Anybody else see this? Any thoughts? It's an intersting move for Best Buy, not sure if they'll be able to compete with GC's.
Members Rapmaster
My local carries Starcasters, nothing nice though. I'm sure they're trying to find a new niche in the market. Their CD sales can't be doing well with the introduction of large scale pirating and iTunes.
Members Vibroluxman
I'd say the "Trained musicians" are just the random giggers on staff that get a job at best buy and play at night. I'm betting they weren't hired for there musical skills.
