Members Spacetrucker
Some background - http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1614094 That's as close to parallel as I could possibly get the base plate after hours of tightening/loosening the springs. What do you think?

Members Spacetrucker
Does it really matter though? Can I not get away with it like that? I've been tightening and loosening for hours, that's the closest I've got.....

I've been tightening and loosening for hours, that's the closest I've got..... mrperson is right about it tilting a bit...but when all is said and done the way you have it will work fine. BTW...Congrats on getting the locking trem going. They can be real "hair pullers" when you first start setting them up / learning how to make it happen. Members NoodleFace
It's personal preference if you want it tilted a little bit, but you could make it a little straighter IMO.

Thanks, the knowledge that this is the one and only time I'll have to mess with the springs and that I know how to do the whole process makes me feel relieved
