Members waitrose
I have pretty worn frets on a '65 Candy Apple Red - good to replace, or stupid idea??
Members flyby
If your worried about depreciation then it could be ..But if your keeping it anyway then you might as well so you can play the darn thing The decision is to store-it(appreciate in value),sell it now or Play it It would still pull a decent buck after a fret job so don't worry to much, just take to a good luthier. You probably won't want to sell it anyway so..
Members axegrinder
I'd swap the neck out and store the original.
Members waitrose
I'd swap the neck out and store the original. hmmm, or take out the original frets, save 'em like Keith Richards' old teeth, to be put back in, if it's up for sale..... Members Ged LST
Mebbe I'm an idiot but I'd get it refretted. Professionally. Sorry, I must amend that - expertly! That is if you're planning on keeping and playing it, if you're not, mail her to me, I'll refret it and make sure she's played. - Ged
