Members mmmiddle Posted June 26, 2007 Members Share Posted June 26, 2007 I have a Gibson SG Special which is the model without fretboard binding or fancy inlays. I love everything about the guitar except for the neck. I don't need the binding or inlays, but something about the neck makes it hard to play. A friend of mine has an Epiphone SG Special (yeah those $140 ones) and it is infinitely easier to play. Also every time someone plays my guitar they comment on how big the neck feels. Anyway, since I love SGs so much, I'd like to get another one with a better neck for me. Can anyone tell me if the neck on mine is the same as other models, and if there are models with different necks, which ones so I can try those out and see if they might suit me better?
