I want a nice clean clear tone in the neck, thinking Duncan Jazz, but I want that tele snarl fromn the bridge: thinking seth lover, or pearly gate, or phat cat? I can get the duncans for about 50 bucks a piece. OR for 30 bucks a pop, maybe the GFS fender style seth lovers, like the regular fender humbucker teles have? any advice? Members Karma1 Posted July 4, 2007 Members Share Posted July 4, 2007 I have a Tele with two DiMarzio humbuckers - Air Norton/neck and Tone Zone/bridge. I usually use Seymour Duncans on most of my guitars, but these DiMarzios are outstanding. I have a coil-split switch on them which adds a much wider range of tone options.
