Charvel Model 2 body question

I have an import Charvel model 2, and was wondering if anyone knows the average quality / # of pieces of those bodies. I need to replace the bridge studs (and the damn fulcrum Khaler), and was thinking of stripping down the body and refinishing it in a translucent color. I like the hot red it currently has, and don't NEED to refinish it, so I was hoping someone knew if they were typicaly 1, 2 or 15 pieces, Alder or??

depends on the year

if its import i doubt its one piece though

and im pretty sure theyre alder
