Members Rapmaster
My buddy gave me his RGT42 to do a basic setup. Everytime I plugged in, the sound would cut out unless i applied pressure on the connector. I figured this would be a loose solder joint so I began to take apart the jack. However, what I found was a seemingly proprietary input jack. Normally it's a screw and a washer, but this thing is a circle with ridges on the side. Anybody ever remove the jack from an RGT42? Members NoodleFace
My RG's have the same, I believe you can only access them from the back panel unless there's some way I dont know
Members Rapmaster
sorry for the late reply...no search function. But, would I just undo the nut from the rear? In case I wasn't clear to anybody, I wanted to remove the input jack.
Members sylvesterlowery
IIRC, it's a barrel style jack. Just remove the nut and washer from inside the cavity, will come right out.
