Members Suspicious Mail
I just ordered a set of tele pups from Vintage Vibe Guitars, and like a lot of Mr. Biltoft's pickups they're user customizable: they come with two baseplates, one steel and one brass. So now I'm stuck with a decision to make and I'm like, "huh?" I could install either one or even neither, I guess. If all else fails I could write him back and ask him what the deal is, I guess, but I figured since you guys aren't trying to make pickups for me I'd rather bother you instead. So what does a brass baseplate do to the sound of a tele pickup? What about a steel one? Anybody know?

Members Suspicious Mail
I found this in a google search Yeah, I found that too but it doesn't explain much... especially since it's "copper plated steel" and I'm looking at either/ or, not both. Thanks for the bump tho.
