Members Stvwndr219 Posted August 26, 2007 Members Share Posted August 26, 2007 Well well, here we go again... seeing as neither dealer in my area carries any remotely aesthetically pleasing versions of the guitars I wanted in my previous thread, I've decided to look at some dots... however, whilst I was perusing the MF website, I found that there are actually several different versions, namely: The "Dot Electric"The "Dot Deluxe Flametop"The "Dot Deluxe Archtop' Are there any noticeable differences between these three? Members zum Posted August 26, 2007 Members Share Posted August 26, 2007 There is a noticable difference. For one the flame top versions have a chunkier neck then the standard dot. Also I find the flame tops quality build isn't up to par with the standard dots. I find paint around the f-holes tend to bleed a bit and is a little rough.
