Members heem6
I wondered if anyone here has tried one of these? I read a few pretty good User Reviews over in that section. I played the Johnson Catalyst over the weekend and aside from setup problems, it seemed pretty nice. The quiltwork was beautiful. I'm sure the Floyd would need replacing at this price, also the pickups. That's no problem. It featured a bound neck, 24 frets and angled headstock. I'm attracted to it because it features a 1 5/8" neck, which I prefer to the 1 11/16". Anyone own one of these? I'd be interested in hearing your experiences. Thanks! Members Old Rookie
I just posted a question regarding the neck. I have never played one and wondered if the neck was simular to a Ibanez Wizard II, wide and thin?
Members heem6
Hey, I can't remember much specific about the neck except that I liked it - which at least means it's thin and not fat like a Les Paul or PRS. I will recommend the Kramer Striker FR-422sm, which just came back in stock. I got one of these and they are cool, cool guitars. I would go with one of the Kramers from MusicYo.com before I would get the Catalyst. Change out the whammy bar, get a good bridge pickup and have it setup properly and you'll have a GREAT guitar.
