Members bnelly428
Hi all, I recently purchased a Schecter Diamond series guitar, for $100. The owner said he's selling it because there is wiring issues. I figured what a good way to practice soldering etc. He said the issue is that the guitar plays "vol all the way up when plugged in" So to me this means one of a couple things... Volume pot doesnt work.Grounding issue in either the pickup or input. Let me preface this by saying that On a scale of 1 to 10 of electronic wiring experience I rate about a 4 or less. Have any of you had this type of problem before or does it sound like something you've heard about? Oh yeah it's got stock pickups. When I actually receive it I'll post pics of the wiring scheme. Thanks!
